In Pokémon by Stern Pinball, Trainers journey across four distinct habitats, discovering, catching, and bonding with many of their favorite Pokémon. Players shoot the illuminated, mechanically animated Poké Ball to capture Pokémon, build their ultimate team, and complete their Pokémon Collection. The playfield features beautifully crafted Pokémon-themed ramps, spinners, and targets, while an animatronic Pikachu reacts dynamically to gameplay—cheering players on at every turn.

Trainers will battle rival challengers through custom-designed battle sequences, bringing arena-style excitement to the machine. Danger looms as Team Rocket and their infamous boss, Giovanni, plot trouble. The interactive Meowth Balloon toy swoops into the battle arena to confront players mid-game, while Premium and Limited Edition models feature an interactive electromagnet that adds chaotic twists to gameplay.

Every detail of Pokémon by Stern Pinball honors the rich legacy of the beloved franchise. The game integrates video clips from the original Pokémon animated series, immersing players in the world that started it all. Utilizing Stern’s award-winning Insider Connected system, Pokémon by Stern Pinball connects Trainers and their progress across machines and locations. When players sign in with their Stern Insider Connected account, the Pokémon they catch are added to their personal Insider Connected Pokémon Collection, viewable within the Insider Connected app—bringing a persistent, collectible dimension to every game played.
